WEDDING PLANNING
I’m finally getting married
Well in a year or two
Wedding planning isn’t easy
There’s such a lot to do
Wedding venue is important
And of course I’ll need a theme
Dress, shoes, veil, accessories
Will help complete my dream
I’ll need some wedding music
Must choose some wedding flowers
A photographer, a video
This planning will take hours
Where will we get the wedding rings,
And should I make a toast?
Perhaps I’ll read a poem out
Thank those I love the most
I’m not sure about the bestman’s speech
Hope it will be okay
And will dad wear a wedding suit
To give this bride away?
I wonder what my mum will wear
It’s her day as much as mine
Great outfit, jewelry, fancy hat
Bride’s mum should really shine
What about the invitations?
Wedding gift ideas as well
What will we have to eat and drink?
And what music? – who can tell
We must sort out our wedding vows
Maybe a pre-nup’ too
Marriage should be ever lasting
But it’s the modern thing to do
Goodness it’s a nightmare
It’s doing in my head
Perhaps I’ll do as my fiance says
And just elope instead!
